Feature facades and panel cladding systems
Architectural cladding for new residential and commercial projects — the same technical rigour we bring to roofing, because the performance standards are equally demanding.
Engineered for Queensland, installed to the NCC
Innovare Roofing installs architectural cladding systems for new residential and commercial projects across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and South East Queensland — from feature facade panels on contemporary inner-Brisbane homes to full composite systems on commercial buildings.
Cladding in Queensland must contend with intense UV, high humidity, coastal salt air and cyclone-adjacent wind loads. The wrong product or a poor install can result in premature failure, water ingress and significant remediation costs. We specify and install systems engineered for the local environment and compliant with the NCC, AS 1562 and manufacturer technical data.
Cladding for facades, features and refurbishment
Metal Cladding
Colorbond and Zincalume in corrugated, ribbed and flat profiles — lightweight, durable and excellent in coastal and high-UV environments.
Composite Panels
Aluminium composite (ACP) and fibre-cement composite for a contemporary flat-panel look — specified non-combustible or appropriately rated per the NCC.
Fibre Cement
External-grade fibre cement sheet in smooth or textured finishes — a painted rendered appearance without the weight of masonry.
Timber-Look Feature
Timber-look aluminium or composite profiles — the warmth of natural timber with the durability of metal in Queensland’s humidity and UV.
Parapet & Bulkhead
Parapet capping and feature bulkhead cladding for a clean, resolved edge on residential and commercial buildings.
Fire-Rated Compliance
We specify products with appropriate fire ratings for the building type and work with certifiers and fire engineers on complex projects.
We do not install non-compliant combustible cladding
The NCC places strict requirements on external wall cladding for buildings above certain heights and in certain classes.
- NCC external wall requirements assessed per building class and height.
- Appropriate fire ratings specified for the building type.
- Certifier & fire-engineer liaison on complex commercial projects.
- Post-2018 reforms — we specify only compliant composite products.
- Correct detailing at junctions and penetrations for long-term durability.
- Renovation matching — matching or compatible products, or feature-highlighting the new work.
Frequently asked questions
Our primary scope is low-to-medium rise residential and commercial buildings. For high-rise projects we can discuss scope and sub-contractor arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
It depends on the building class and height. The NCC introduced significant reforms to external wall cladding after 2018. We specify only compliant products for each application and can advise on the options for your building.
We make every effort to source matching or compatible products. Where an exact match is not available, we discuss options including feature-highlighting the new cladding as a design element.
On commercial buildings, cladding replacement typically requires a building permit. On residential buildings it depends on the scope and value of work. We advise on permit requirements as part of our quoting process.
