Residential roofing for Brisbane and Gold Coast homes
New residential roofs and complete replacements for detached homes, dual occupancies, granny flats and extensions — in Colorbond, tile, Zincalume and composite profiles.
Built for South East Queensland conditions
Innovare Roofing installs new residential roofs and complete roof replacements for detached homes, dual occupancies, granny flats and residential extensions across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. We work with all major roofing materials — Colorbond steel, concrete and terracotta tile, Zincalume and composite profiles — and every installation meets NCC requirements and AS 1562 or AS 4055 wind-load specifications.
Your home’s roof is its primary weather barrier. In South East Queensland, where summer storms regularly bring intense rainfall, hail and wind gusts that exceed 100 km/h in severe events, getting the specification right is not a matter of aesthetics alone — it is a matter of structural performance and long-term protection.
From new installs to full re-roofs
Whether you’re building new, adding a granny flat or replacing an ageing roof, we scope, supply and install the complete package.
New Roof Installations
Framing co-ordination, sarking, roof sheet or tile to AS 1562, flashings, ridges, valley iron, penetration sealing, guttering and handover documentation.
Roof Replacements
For roofs 20–25 years or older, weathered or storm-damaged — we assess the structure, advise on the best material and re-roof with minimal disruption.
Colorbond Steel
Australia’s most popular roofing material: lightweight, durable, 22 colours, and BlueScope-warranty backed when installed by an accredited installer.
Zincalume Steel
A natural metallic finish with excellent corrosion resistance — commonly used where a contemporary industrial aesthetic is desired.
Concrete Tile
Traditional, durable, with good thermal mass and sound insulation. Requires adequate framing to carry the load; long lifespan when maintained.
Terracotta Tile
Natural clay tiles with a heritage aesthetic popular in older Brisbane suburbs — lighter than concrete, suiting character homes and heritage overlays.

Frequently asked questions
For a typical three-to-four bedroom home, a complete re-roof takes between two and five days depending on roof complexity, material choice and weather. We give you a realistic timeline in your written quote.
Usually yes. Concrete tile is significantly heavier than Colorbond steel, so removing tiles and replacing with metal sheet usually reduces the load on the roof framing. We inspect the framing before scoping the work to confirm any requirements.
Yes. We provide a workmanship warranty on all installations, and BlueScope Colorbond product warranties apply on eligible projects through our accredited installer status.
Absolutely. We work with the full Colorbond colour range and can provide samples. If your property is in a heritage overlay or requires design approval, we can advise on colours typically accepted by the relevant council.
