Asbestos Roof Removal

Asbestos Roof Removal

Licensed removal of asbestos cement roofing across Brisbane, Gold Coast and SEQ. Super-six corrugated and flat fibro roofing are among the most common asbestos materials on Queensland homes built before 1990 — and become more dangerous as they age.

Overview

Ageing roof sheeting is an increasing risk

As asbestos cement roofing ages it degrades, becomes brittle and friable, and poses an increasing risk to occupants and neighbouring properties. Roofing in poor condition — cracked, broken, heavily weathered or lichen-covered — must be treated with particular care.

Asbestos roof removal over 10m² requires a licensed removalist. We hold an A-Class licence, covering all categories of asbestos roof sheeting in any quantity and condition. We use wet suppression throughout and never dry-cut or break sheets unnecessarily.

Common questions

Costs depend on the roof area, accessibility, pitch, condition of the sheeting and disposal weight. We provide fixed-price itemised quotes — contact us for a quote specific to your property.

For non-friable sheeting in good condition, temporary exclusion from the immediate work area is typically sufficient. For deteriorated or friable sheeting we may recommend temporarily vacating. We advise at the quotation stage.
