Experience, licensing and local knowledge
A QBCC-licensed roofing and cladding contractor operating across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and South East Queensland — and a division of the Innovare Group.
Roofing that understands the whole building
Innovare Roofing is a QBCC-licensed roofing and cladding contractor operating across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. We are a division of the Innovare Group — a single licensed building entity operating across multiple residential and commercial disciplines — and we bring that broader construction knowledge to every roof we touch.
Our team has direct, hands-on experience across the full range of residential and commercial roofing in South East Queensland. That means we understand not just how to install a roof, but how it interacts with the rest of a building: the framing below, the gutter and drainage system attached to it, the internal environment it protects and the cyclone-rated wind loads it must withstand.
A wide range of project types across SEQ
Roofing in South East Queensland is not the same as roofing in Melbourne or Sydney. Local conditions demand a specification approach built for the climate — not just minimum code compliance.
- New residential roofs on detached homes, dual occupancies and townhouse complexes across Brisbane’s inner, middle and outer rings.
- Complete re-roof programs on commercial and industrial buildings on the Gold Coast and Logan corridors.
- Architectural metal cladding on architect-designed new homes and mixed-use developments.
- Colorbond and Zincalume specified to coastal wind-load classifications from Redcliffe to Burleigh Heads.
- Tile-roof repair programs across strata complexes in Brisbane’s south-east.
- Storm-response and insurance repair work following severe SEQ weather events.
Fully licensed, insured and standards-compliant
QBCC Builder’s Licence
We operate under the Innovare Group’s QBCC builder’s licence (No. 15514239), covering all classes of residential and commercial building work in Queensland — including roofing, cladding and associated building fabric.
Australian Standards
All work meets the current NCC/BCA, AS 1562.1 and 1562.2 (sheet roof and wall cladding), AS 3500 (roof drainage) and wind-load classifications under AS 4055 and AS/NZS 1170.2.
BlueScope Accreditation
An accredited installer of BlueScope Colorbond and Zincalume — meeting BlueScope’s installation standards, which activates manufacturer-backed product warranties on eligible installed products.
Fully Insured
We carry current public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Certificates of currency are available on request prior to contract execution.
NSW Cross-Border
For projects with a New South Wales component or clients requiring cross-border compliance, we hold NSW Builder Licence No. 474965C.
QBCC Home Warranty
For eligible residential projects over the relevant contract-price threshold, we provide QBCC Home Warranty Insurance as required by the QBCC Act 1991.
We do not cut corners on height safety
All site personnel hold current certificates of competency for working at heights. Every project is preceded by a site-specific safe work method statement developed under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld).
- Site-specific SWMS for every job, aligned to the Construction Work Code of Practice.
- Trained foremen managing risk in rooftop environments.
- Permanent height-safety systems — anchor points, static lines and walkways — designed and installed for commercial projects.
One licensed builder, coordinated across disciplines
Innovare Roofing is part of the Innovare Group, which brings together licensed residential building, roofing, landscaping and related construction services under a single QBCC licence.
The Group model means our clients benefit from coordinated scheduling across disciplines, a single point of accountability, and the consistency of working with a licensed builder — not a subcontract chain.
About our licensing & team
We operate under a QBCC builder’s licence, which covers both building work and specialist roofing and cladding. This is a higher threshold than a trade licence and means we can take full contractual and compliance responsibility for building work.
