Under the WHS Act 2011 and the Code of Practice for Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces, building owners and managers have a duty to provide safe access for roof maintenance. Any commercial building requiring regular rooftop maintenance must have appropriate fall protection installed.

Fixed Anchor Points

Permanently embedded in the roof structure and tested to the required working load — installed at intervals to allow movement with a fall-arrest system.

Eyebolt & Swivel Anchors

Low-profile eyebolt anchors for low-frequency access, and swivel anchors allowing 360° lanyard movement to reduce trip hazards.

Static Lines

Horizontal lifelines to AS/NZS 1891.2 — tensioned between anchor points so workers stay continuously attached as they traverse the roof.

Walkway Systems

Non-slip pathways in aluminium and fibreglass mesh that protect the roof sheet and define the maintenance access route.

Engineered Connection

All anchors connect to the primary roof structure — never just the sheet — and are load-tested, with a certificate per unit.

Inspection & Re-Certification

Annual inspection and re-certification of installed anchor and lifeline systems by a competent person, per AS 1891.4.
