Fascia and soffit replacement — Brisbane and Gold Coast
The functional and aesthetic finish at your roof’s perimeter — replaced in timber or aluminium, as part of a re-roof or as a standalone scope.
The finished edge that supports your gutter
Fascia supports the gutter and provides a finished edge to the roof rafters; soffit closes the underside of the eave, keeping birds, pests and weather out of the roof cavity. When these deteriorate — through rot, impact or weathering — they undermine both your gutter system and the structural integrity of the roof perimeter.
Innovare Roofing replaces timber and aluminium fascia and soffit across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and SEQ, as part of a complete re-roofing program or as a standalone scope.
Timber and aluminium, done right
Timber Fascia
Replaced like-for-like where the aesthetic is to be maintained. Severely rotted timber cannot support a gutter under load and must be replaced before new gutters go on.
Aluminium Fascia
The modern standard — does not rot, minimal maintenance, and available in the full Colorbond range to coordinate with roof and gutters.
Fibre Cement Soffit
Durable, paintable and moisture-resistant — the standard residential soffit choice.
Aluminium Perforated Soffit
Provides continuous eave-cavity ventilation, contributing to roof-space ventilation — popular on brick-and-tile homes.
Timber Soffit
Traditional hardwood or softwood sheeting on older homes — restored and repainted, or replaced where damaged.
Inspection & Advice
We inspect fascia and soffit condition before every re-roof and recommend replacement only where it’s genuinely needed.
Inspected before every re-roof
Sound timber or existing aluminium fascia can usually be retained. We recommend replacement where it’s rotted, delaminating or too weak to support the new gutter.
- Rot at joints and the bottom edge where gutter fixings penetrate.
- Gutter support — fascia must reliably carry the gutter under load.
- Colour coordination — aluminium fascia in Colorbond colours to match roof and gutters.
- Delaminating soffit — replaced where damaged, delaminating or missing.
- Eave ventilation — perforated soffit to support roof-space airflow.
- Standalone or bundled — done with a re-roof, or as its own scope.
Frequently asked questions
Not always — but we inspect fascia condition before every re-roof. If the fascia is rotted, delaminating or too weak to support the new gutter, we recommend replacement. Sound timber or existing aluminium fascia can usually be retained.
Yes. Aluminium fascia is available pre-painted in Colorbond colours, so your fascia, gutters and roof can all be coordinated in a single colour scheme.
For residential gutter support, aluminium fascia is structurally adequate. It does not provide the same rigidity as large-section hardwood, but for standard residential guttering loads it performs reliably and without rot risk.
As part of a re-roofing project, fascia replacement adds one to two days to the programme. Standalone fascia replacement typically takes one day.
