Aged care fitouts — comfort, dignity & full compliance
We build aged care fitouts and senior living environments across Brisbane and the Gold Coast — residential aged care facility fitouts, independent living unit upgrades, common area refurbishments and specialist dementia care environments — all to NCC Class 9c requirements, AS 1428 accessible standards and the care philosophy of modern aged care.
Built to the Aged Care Quality Standards
Aged care facilities operate under the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Quality Standards administered by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. The physical environment standards require an environment that promotes safety, comfort and dignity — translating to universal accessibility, anti-ligature hardware where appropriate, slip-resistant flooring, lighting for aging vision, reduced acoustic hard surfaces, and clear wayfinding.
The NCC Class 9c classification imposes structural, fire safety, egress and services requirements more demanding than Class 5 office or Class 6 retail. We build to this standard with full documentation and certifier engagement.
From resident suites to clinical spaces

Common areas & lounges
Lounges, dining and activity areas with acoustic ceiling and wall treatments, non-glare lighting, slip-resistant flooring, and layouts planned for wheelchair and walking-frame circulation.
Dining & cafe areas
Commercial-standard kitchen infrastructure servicing residential-scale dining, with wheelchair-accessible seating and appropriate servery counter heights.
